Regular Post No one cares about -- But I don't Care...This Day in History and its Relevance to Today.
On this day 63 years ago, a world leader -- who cannot be named -- launched a massive invasion for the purpose of surprising his former ally in an attempt to wipe out what he believed (with some supporting evidence) was a world wide evil cabal.
His military was skeptical that the plan would work, but the invasion went ahead anyway because of this individual's obsession (and this guy definitely could not be dissuaded from his obsessions).
If you have ever cracked a book or watched the History Channel you know of what I speak and its modern relevance.
Plus, I managed not to violate Godwin's Law to boot.
