The Reception of the Christ In europe, where the Jeebus is no longer the annointer of their leaders (joke not applicable in Vatican City), the symbol of christianity has become a means of disguising cellular telephone antennae. "My God, My God, Can thou hear me now?" This, of course, is quite different in the United States where the Cross is used to hide things like torture, war, and xenophobia.
