They Have no shame, Infinity The Preznit's primary drag queen attack dog, Karen Hughes, had this statement to make about John Kerry, a man who was dodging Viet Cong bullets with the same deftness McFlightsuit was dodging roll call. "He only pretended to throw his," Hughes said in a CNN interview. "Now, I can understand if, out of conscience, you take a principled stand, and you would decide that you were so opposed to this that you would actually throw your medals. But to pretend to do so -- I think that's very revealing." While there are a few obvious things here. First, Kerry had campaign medals to throw. On the other hand, Bush could only throw down. Second, Hughes is either uninformed or lying for the purpose of deceiving the uninformed. Knowing this Administration I'm betting on the latter. The "ribbons" are also termed medals. An ignorant person (and we have a few of those) may actually believe that a "MEDAL" has to be made out of "METAL", however, that isn't so. But don't just believe me, believe the Navy. Third, Hughes is simply lying. Kerry did throw his. So in the last two days Karen Hughes has: (1) Compared Pro-Choice Americans to Al Qaeda; (2) Lied about Kerry's Anti-War Protest as being Unprincipled. On to the next lie, womanly Dubya.
