Sweetheart of the Rodeo And THIS is an example of Bush's Braintrust In response to the estimated 500,000 to 750,000 marching on behalf of reproduction rights, Bush's factotem said: From the New York Times: [Karen Hughes] also said that abortion-rights activists were moving against what she said was popular momentum, particularly since the terrorist attacks of 2001, in favor of anti-abortion policies. "I think that after September 11, the American people are valuing life more and we need policies to value the dignity and worth of every life," she said. "President Bush has worked to say, let's be reasonable, let's work to value life, let's reduce the number of abortions, let's increase adoptions. And I think those are the kinds of policies the American people can support, particularly at a time when we're facing an enemy and, really, the fundamental issue between us and the terror network we fight is that we value every life." That's just great, people who are pro-choice (that's more than half the country Karen) are on the same ground as Al Qaeda. Holy uniter, not a divider. After 9/11 you have to be anti-Roe v. Wade. Talk about your overstatements that will be ignored by the SCLM. It is disturbing enough that Karen Hughes worships the ground upon which Dubya trods (including the Constitution of course) in the style of George W. Bush, cross-dresser, but calling the pro-choice position equal to terrorism might be just a tad beyond the pale don't you think?
