"This Just In from the Department of Please Don't Pay Attention to Kerry What with the bad news out of Iraq, the story of their attempt to stage the capture of Bin Laden just in time for the elections, the dissapointing job figures, the arrest of Bush's buddy Kenny-Boy, the naming of Edward to be Kerry's running mate the Bush Administration needed to try to steal back the headlines. "Our three weapons are fear, and surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the dope" As one can expect, each and every month between now and November the Bush Administration will roll out Ridge (or Ashcroft) to say something like this:
The United States is tightening security in the face of a steady stream of intelligence indicating al-Qaida may seek to mount an attack aimed at disrupting elections, the White House said.
So remember, the White House wants you to know, on the first Tuesday in November when you exercise your right to vote -- it's only fair that you give their vote to them...on pain of death.
