The New Equilibrium is Setting In I wake this morning to find business as usual in the Chimperial Republic of FUBAR.
At least 35 people were killed and some 138 others were wounded Thursday morning, according to Iraq's Health Ministry, when an apparent suicide car bomber targeted an Iraqi army recruitment center in Baghdad.
Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi visited the scene of the blast and said.
"This is an escalation that we have been expecting. The government of Iraq is determined to confront the enemies."
Ever the sly ones, the transitional government is disguising their preparations to meet these expectations by not protecting obvious targets like Army Recruitment stations with long queues of folks. Places that have been hit before. Well, they are taking their lead from the Bush Administration. "W"incompetence in action once again.
