Tragic, But Funny Daniel Drezner, a moderate to conservative blogger, but by and large a good one (though occasionally I think he's inhaled something wacky) mades a constructive point on the Iraqi War conservative supporters and where they stand now. Drezner points out, not only was Chalabi's house raided -- but Bush also reportedly told Jordan's King Abdullah that the latter could "piss on Chalabi". Drezner than asks whether some of the bigger, wackier NeoCons like say, Richard Perle et all will choose to support Bush or Chalabi. He then adds this killer kicker: Just got one of Laurie Mylroie's mass e-mails. She condemns "today's outrageous, and totally uncalled for, raid on Ahmed Chalabi's compound" and asks, "Just what is the U.S. doing in Iraq?" Yeah, she's stickin' with Chalabi. These people, like Laurie Mylroie, are like a cult -- they will never give up the ghost, never.
