Michael Moore gets big reception at Cannes http://edition.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Movies/05/17/moore.film/index.html http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F40B13FA35590C768CDDAC0894DC404482 http://edition.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Movies/05/06/moore.disney/index.html http://www.michaelmoore.com/ Farenheit 9/11, the movie that Disney does not want you to see is getting great response. Let's hope that Moore is able to find a distributor for the film soon. Regardless of what one feels about Moore, censorship is unAmerican. Not to mention, boring. For example: Insert some jingoistic comment about protecting artistic and political freedom of speech here. Random criticism of the oh dear God it is so poorly named US Patriot Act. Followed by a diatribe against the legislation yet to be proposed Domestic Security Enforcement Act! Isn't that dull? So, if for no other reason the Chimperor must leave because Attorney General -- I can't even win an electin against a dead guy -- John Ashcroft goes with him. (Of course, just in case Mr. Ashcroft is reading this page... isn't John Ashcroft a handsome attorney general?).
