Lost in the News Between the loathsome acts of Abu Ghraib and the gruesome execution of Nick Berg is lost the fact that American Soldiers continue to die in Iraq at an alarming rate. For some reason this is being strangely under-reported. To date 33 American soldiers have been killed this month, May 2004 is on pace to be the second deadliest month in Iraq following only this April.
