I Channel the Interpretation of Condi's Testimony Right-Wing: "Wow did she put those people in her place, all hail out President, his devine mission, and his blessed ministers. Verily I say unto you, yea the rapture is upon us and Dubya, Condi and the Lord's chosen people will arise." Left-Wing: "The fact that she was not struck dead by a lightning bolt demonstrates that there is no God" Reality: It's a wash in the immediate term. BUT, the drip, drip, drip continues. Why? You ask [assuming anybody besides me actually comes here]. Not really much testimony about Richard Clarke being "scurrilous", nor about contradictions. That's kind of bad for the White House. Get ready for the 8/6/01 Memo FINALLY becoming the big story. Did Bob Kerry already declassify that along with Clarke's memo of June or July ... I think he may have. Oh, oh. KERREY: Actually it won't be a question. In the spirit of further declassification, this is what the August 6th memo said to the president: that the FBI indicates patterns of suspicious activity in the United States consistent with preparations for hijacking. That's the language of the memo that was briefed to the president on the 6th of August. Most importantly, things still suck in Iraq and it looks to be getting worse. But, its true, she was not struck dead.
