Of course, what Bush neglected to note is the picture that has emerged this week on how hard his administration worked on a "strategery" that would allow them to get around the law against torture on technical grounds. Or to get around the law on less technical reasons such as "you're the President Chimperor, you can do what you want". Adherence to the law doesn't comfort me when you are having your lawyers find a way for you to get around its messy technicalities.
