Whoopsy! According to MSNBC, the network that humanity forgot, the Shrine of Ali, the holiest site in Shi'a Islam was slightly damaged in fighting between the United States and Sadrists. Not surprisingly each side blames the other.

Qays al-Khazali, chief spokesman for al-Sadr, who has led a bloody rebellion against the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq, showed the damage — four holes in the shrines golden dome — to journalists after six hours of heavy fighting.

Here is my prediction, one way or another the Shrine of Ali will be more severely damaged and regardless of who is responsible, the United States will get the lion's share of the blame. Is it really that hard to figure this stuff out? Why we are pushing on the Sadrists near the Vatican of the Shi'a in the wake of all the other crappy recent news is beyond me. This will not go well. But on the other hand...oh never mind, the other hand was blown off in this clusterfuck long ago.
