Potential Disaster of the Day "Dubya of Al-Arabiya" will be appearing on a pair of Arabic newschannels tonight (including the American sponsored Al Hurra)to discuss how the torturer's of Abu Gharib do not reflect American Policy. Spanky McSpokesman states what Bush is expected to be prepped to say: "The images do not represent what America stands for, nor do they represent the high standards of conduct that the military is committed to uphold. The U.S. believes in treating all people with dignity and respect." It's nice that somebody gets to interview Bush I guess. I was planning on playing "Hi, Bob" tonight, but instead I am going to play the George W. Bush Drinking game. -- For every "Smirk", one drink -- For every nervous chuckle, two drinks -- For every minute without an express apology, one drink -- For every dance around his endorsement of Sharon's Settlements policy, three drinks -- For every mention of closing down Saddam's torture chambers and rape rooms without recognizing the irony, one entire bottle. Does anybody think this has the potential, nay, likelihood of a complete clusterfuck in the Arab World? I'm sure Bush is up to that, and it would certainly be consistent with their other Middle Eastern policy initiatives.
